The arranger has created a relaxed swing arrangement of this 1940’s standard that is true to the Duke Ellington style. The appropriate use of various stopped techniques adds a fitting texture to the soft jazz setting. As with most jazz pieces, the accidentals are frequent and will require much preparation.
