Meditations on the Theme of Peace

This moving work was written in response to the global increase in violence. Derek has included an introduction to this work which describes the evolution of this work – from fascination with musical cryptograms 20 years ago to feeling compelled to develop that one cryptogram (PEACE) into a beautifully moving musical work based on the words PEACE and DONA NOBIS PACEM. It is easily accessible to Level 2+/3- groups and equally wonderful for advanced groups since expression is critical to the most meaningful playing of this music.
