Description

Gustav Holst wrote two Suites for concert band and the Second Suite in F (Op. 28, No. 2) was the last. Seven folk tunes of the time are compressed into this work. Each of these suites is unique in character and delightfully arranged for handbells and handchimes. Alex has done a masterful job of integrating bells and chimes, stopped sounds and legato passages, making each of the movements a delight. Level of difficulty varies with suggested tempo being one of the factors. Addition of optional anvil and tambourine add to the works. Multiple levels. You may purchase the entire suite or choose a movement as a separate purchase.
