Suite Gothique (Chorale and Minuet)

Description

The first two movements of this well-known organ suite has been arranged for handbells and handchimes. The Chorale is chordal, stately and a bit austere. It is followed by the dance-like Minuet which is celebratory, graceful and somewhat playful. Handchimes are interspersed giving variety to the sound in both pieces, and nicely-placed marts, mart-lifts and TD add to the joyful feel of the Minuet. The option to move directly from the Chorale to the Minuet is offered – or each work may fully stand alone.
